Where does it go from here?

The steering committee will continue to hold monthly planning meetings. In early 2024 we will host a series of strategic planning convenings for food systems stakeholders in NYC.

Following the convenings, we will develop a proposal with recommendations on how to launch an impactful and sustainable FPC for New York City, including governance structure, membership requirements and selection process, and potentially values and draft bylaws for the Council. This document will serve as a critical tool for communications and organizing to launch the Council.
